Providence

Heading out from Sarum prime myself GB and SSA flew off in our Assault Frigs to R3- with the intension of engaging in some surprise PVP with the NPCers in Providence.

As normally getting to R3 took much longer then expected due to the less then accurate use of BMs. We (eventualy) get to the R3- gate and jump in, loading up to see 2 bubbles and 10odd ships camping the gate. Normally this would be a bad oman for the rest of the night, but we found that all three of us had loaded outside the bubbles. Gang warp to the next gate and off we go.

A little roaming around and GB scans down a Ferrox and Ishkur in a belt, they die. We move around some more every now and then we hear GB shouting something about stabbed up HF ravens being ghay and after a few near misses we decide to go to 7YWV-S.

GB jumps in, very quickly scans down a raven so me and Ssa jump and warp. When we arrive we see that the raven was in Â½ shields and GB had him scrambled, for once -1 is enough to hold the guy. Locked scrambled again, all three AFs pounding away, the fight is going ok. The raven is firing EM torps at GB which is ok as GB was in a Jag and could take that all day. At this point we are pretty confident that we are going to get this guy. Then from else where in the system a second raven warps into the belt. Two ravens vs. 3 Assault frigs. The balance had shifted in favour of the NPCers.

This is where events took a strange turn. The first Raven pilot ejects! All of a sudden there is a raven, pod and empty Raven on scanner. The pod warps out and the new Raven gets scrambled. I AB at the empty raven while tanking the second, 6.5km comes up and I jump ship. Now itâ€™s 1 raven and a 2 assault frigs vs. 1 raven. So there I am locking him in my new raven, while he continues to shoot my empty harpy (mods running still tanking him). Locked, firing, heâ€™s dead after GB and Ssa held him long enough to get on the Kill mail (whore that I am) podded to.

omg, nice

There is something in the water down in Providence, have seen noob corp Raven after noob corp Raven down there.

When they travel it's like 8 Ravens all together and it seems they all log in and out at the same time too, so probably just a few guys with loads of alts Confused
