Last night saw the madest engagement of DWA's short history.
It went as follows.

I was ratting peacefully, but belts were shite so i sent russ into the next system (V7D) to see what the rats were like in there.
He reported 20+ LV in local, turns out a LV corp has made that their new home (-GE- corp)
Russ redirected a convo to me from a member of -GE- asking for a blue.
I said blues cost isk, he laughed then threatened our home system (5E-)

Well, as you can imagine this got an instant hostile responce from myself and i called Russ back into 5E- and we formed up.

I jumped into 5E- in my falcon and searched for a target, a ratting raven was soon discovered.
Uncloak/scram/jam, "come on in boys"
Our boys jumped in, which at the time were few, myself with falcon + alt in tempest + russ in Myrmidon, joram in tackler and alpha in tackler.
It kicked off, with LV sending more ships into belt to stop the gank.....

Then it all went insane, they brougt in 15+ peeps into the belt to fight us, and russ was caught, and going down, my falcon was taking heavy fire nad cosby was out of position so had to keep moving to avoid tacklers lol.

Dellie jumps his carrier leeroy style into the middle of the blob, carnage insues.
Enemy ships are going down all over the show, enemy bring in lots of ecm ships, including 2 scorps 1rook 1arazu and 1 other ship (can't remember what type atm)
20 enemies in belt on dellie atm, and they keep coming for cosby/cart with tacklers so i have to keep repositioning.

So in go everyone in a BC or smaller ships, everyone gets mashed up.

russ down
alpha down
Wookie races to the area and jumps in, and starts tackling.
Russ comes back in a tackler, alpha comes back in a shuttle which dellie assigns fighters too.
Dellie is going down hard, and we're trying everything we can think off to get these fuckers off him.

This battle upto this point has been going on for 30mins.

Then i am informed that ex E-R peeps from all over empire, hearing us on vent and chat channels are racing across eve to get into the fight.
Luny/North/Bujie/Ish i remember at least.
Their 30+ jumps away but onroute lol.

Dellies lost all his fighters, but refuses to go down without a fucking fight, and continues to launch swarm after swarm of heavy drones on them.

Dpets on vent trying to sort out escrows to give ships to the peeps who died so they can get into help again (cos he jmup cloned earlier he can't get there himself)
I continue to keep jamming/sniping with my accounts, but near the end as soon as i come out of warp I'm perma jammed.
Cosby still manages to 2 volley an arazu though Twisted Evil

Dellies goes BOOM.

Cart in the falcon limps away on 41% armor
Cosby in the tempest limps away on 45% structure
Everyone else is dead.

Thus, the first DWA capitol ship is lost, but at a high price.

And god knows how many got out in structure.

The carrier is already in the process of being replaced, but never fear, we still have 6 more carriers in corp manned and ready to deal death.

the tank on that beast is f'kin crazy...
i was sitting there for 20 minutes at 90-95% armor..
with 3 carriers on my ass.. 7-8 bs's and the Moros...
The problem came when they did a smart thing..
Ppl who lost their ships to me docked and fitted with all out nos...
Then the turning point came and the Moros went into siege...
That damage it is producing is just plain SICK..
I saw wrecking hits of about 5000-6000 while my kind/therm resist is 81% Shocked

But the ship is currently in the process of being replaced..
Next time something like this happens...
I won't hestitate and do it all again....

God.. my blood is still boiling of adrenaline from the fight atm.. and its been more than 12 hours ago lol...

best part after the fight:
NO smack, seriously.. NONE
LV was respectfull to me for jumping in the carrier and they where asking me for my fitting lol Smile

All out.. this fight was the turning point in my discision to continue playing or stop the accounts..
I'm back fulltime you fuckers!

Shit, that sounds awesome guys. The guys racing to get in on it is ace as well.

You should have told Gaz and Spock to rush there as well and create a diplomatic incident with LV...they owe Chris one after all since he cynoed one of them to Stain and got kicked from D2 Laughing

The bob spy who caused the loss of the D2 titan infiltrated ECP.R. He was part of corp for fucking 6 months Evil or Very Mad

After this incident paranoia rate in both D2 and amongst my corp members in general was so high i didnt have a choice. Even tho i, myself, know it was innocent move from Chris's side....
