Merrilly cruising round ASCN space in my crow I happen upon an npcing Raven. I put a call out for backup to find that the only available "help" is Multisanti and Gordon (aka Mofosanto and Gaybo) 14 jumps out.
Anyway with nothing better to do with my time I sit within scan range and watch the Raven move through 15 belts as he works his way up through the system. Crap spawn following crap spawn means there is no chance of me nipping in to provide an assist for the rats and I am no closer to achieving my goal - namely of letting him kill a domi spawn then grabing the loot and running away sheepishly to Jita  .
Meanwhile the Chuckle Brothers (Multi & Gordon) are ambling towards my system minus any bookmarks in a Claw and a Vaga (I doubt they had a mwd between them tbh).
Finally after 20 minutes of following the Raven (npcing with a hostile crow consistently within scan range ftw  ) the Eve Gods toss me a tidbit as he warps to a belt with a triple battleship spawn \o/ , at which point I hear that my backup is in warp to the in gate.
Finally getting the chance of some action is the cue for the wife to start talking at me about decorating/shopping/flowers, I forget which, so I have to get off vent as I warp to the belt and shout "Get back in the kitchen and knit me a sweater" to the Strife.
Instead I resort to hoping that M&G can read and start spamming gang chat with "JUMP JUMP JUMP!!!!!!!!"
and "BELT X-X BELT X-X!!!!!!!!!!" (caps ftw) destroying my exclamation mark key in the process.
I land 30km from the Raven and mofo towards him for the scramble. A few seconds later, by which time I had pretty much broken the Ravens tank, "(combat) Your Dual Light Pulse Laser II perfectly strikes xxxx;ASCN(Raven), wrecking for 90.5 damage"  , the cavalry come in for the glory and the Raven takes it in the face. Sparking this in local: xxxxxxxx > a bit cowardly was it not? (names have been witheld to protect innocent hobbits).
Thinking "this guy must know me already", doesn't stop me from having just enough time to nab the loot, jump out, safe spot and log out. The Chuckle Brothers will never see that loot again
Cost to me one broken exclamation mark key and a 10 minute sulk for ignoring the wife. Wrote this story during those 10 minutes...
